I guess you know youve made it big in the radio biz when you scoop an interview with two "hotdoggers" who spend 5 days a week driving the Weinermobile! (Youd better etch my name into an Edward R. Murrow Award right now!)

Last night, as I sat having a meal at Squatters, a local brew pub in Salt Lake City, I started a conversation with two very nice ladies. After the intial prerequisite "bar questions"("Where ya from?" and "Whats your sign?) they informed me that their "job" was to drive the Oscar Mayer Weinermobile through the western part of the United States. What followed was a very entertaining repartee about their amazing profession.

Katie and Lindsay, two very bright and attractive college graduates were chosen from 1000 applicants by the Oscar Mayer officials in Madison, Wisconsin to be "hotdoggers." (Mom and Dad must be SO proud.) I asked them if, before they pointed the Weinermobile towards Boise, if theyd join us on my morning radio show. (Wakin up with Rebecca and Kurt!) Without missing a beat, these two energetic ladies said "You bet."

As they get their lightly-toasted buns down the road, I just wanna tell them "Thanks, you were frank-tastic!"
