Hello Everyone ,
Sony Mobile recently rolling the 1 March 2018 Android security patch for the Xperia XZ1 Compact and XZ Premium. The Xperia XZ1 had already received this firmware version (47.1.A.12.119) last week, so today we see its siblings receive the update.
The Update brings the following changes:
� Bugfix for the persistent GPS notification in the status bar.
�The security of your device has been improved.
( 1 March 2018 Android security patch)
�Device stability improvements, bug fixes.
�New and / or enhanced features.
�Further improvements to performance.

�How to Update XPERIA XZ1 Compact G8441 to Oreo 8.0 (47.1.A.12.119) March 2018 security patch .
First download and install latest Flashtool
� 2- Download Oreo 8.0 (47.1.A.12.119) March 2018 security patch OS for your Sony XPERIA XZ1 Compact from here.
�3- Open the XPERIA Flashtool, click on flash and choose downloaded firmware, than click ok. Important � if you do not want to delete any data of your phone, just uncheck flashing userdata.sin file. All data will remain in your phone, but sometimes it can cause additional troubles. So it is better (and I recommend that) to do the backup of your personal data, than proceed with clean instalation and then restore your personal data.
�4- Turn off your phone and when Flashtool shows pop up window, connect phone to PC with holding volume down button
� 5- After few minutes all is done and your phone gets new firmware.
That�s it! Your Sony XPERIA XZ1 Compact G8441 should now have Official Android 8.0 Oreo 47.1.A.12.119 Firmware installed on your phone! Go to Settings > About phone to verify.
