How to Update Huawei P10 Plus VKY L09 to Oreo 8 0 February Security Patch

Another member of Huawei P series, Huawei P10 Plus (VKY-L09) is now Receiving an OTA update with February security patch.

Hitting the Huawei P devices, the monthly security patch arrives as Software Version VKY-L09C212B371 ( Mexico) and and installs the latest Android security patch.


The Update being OTA should hit your devices anytime now. In case you haven�t received it already, head over to Settings � About phone � System updates and check for the update manually.

Follow Our Guide Below to Download the Update and Install it Yourself.

The Update brings the following changes:

�Android 8.0 Oreo.
�The security of your device has been improved (February 1, 2018).
�Device stability improvements, bug fixes.
�New and / or enhanced features.
�Further improvements to performance.

� Prerequisites:

�This Tutorial is only for installing Android 8.0 Oreo 8.0 February Security Patch on Huawei P10 Plus (VKY-L09).Please do not try on any other Huawei P10 Plus Variants.

�Your phone should have a custom recovery installed in order to install this NanoROM ROM on your phone.

�We will be using TWRP Recovery for this tutorial.

�Make sure your phone is already running a C212 based firmware.

First Download the update.zip and data package provided above and copy them to your phone�s internal memory or the SD card.

� 2- Turn your device off.Reboot into TWRP mode by holding Volume up + Power for a few seconds.

� 3- After taking a full backup, go to install and flash the update.zip package.



� 4- Next, install the data package in the same way.
� 5- Finally, wipe the cache & dalvik partitions and reboot your phone normally.

That�s it! Your Huawei P10 Plus (VKY-L09) should now have Android 8.0 Oreo Firmware B371 installed! Go to Settings > About phone to verify.
