Hello Everyone ,
Sony Mobile has recently updated its flagship devices, the Xperia XZ Premium, XZ1 and XZ1 Compact to android 8.0 Oreo build number 47.1.A.12.34 (from 47.1.A.8.49), adding 1 January 2018 Android security patches in the process.
Follow Our Guide Below to Download the Update and Install it Yourself.
The Update brings the following changes:
�The security of your device has been improved.
�Device stability improvements, bug fixes.
�New and / or enhanced features.
�Further improvements to performance.
� Firmware Details:
�Build number 47.1.A.12.34 (from 47.1.A.8.49), adding 1 January 2018 Android security patches in the process.

� How to Update XPERIA XZ1 Compact G8441 to Android 8.0 Oreo -47.1.A.12.34 .
First download Android 8.0.0 Oreo (mirror) for Sony XPERIA XZ1 Compact G8441.
� 2- unpack downloaded firmware
� 3- if you are flashing your phone first time, install drivers for Flashtool
� 4- note, that app need atleast 10 GB free space on yout hard drive for flashing, also make backup of your data in phone, they will be erase (you can remove userdata.sin from firmware files and han you data will stay in phone, but it is not recommended)
� 5- turn off your phone, connect phone to PC with holding volume down button and than start newflasher.exe (select N twice, when program ask you to things about TA)
�6 after few minutes all is done and your phone gets the new Android 8.0 Oreo firmware and you can start it�
That�s it! Your Sony XPERIA XZ1 Compact G8441 should now have Official Android 8.0 Oreo 47.1.A.12.34 . Firmware installed on your phone! Go to Settings > About phone to verify.
