How to Update Nokia 3 to December 2017 Security Patch OTA

Great News for Nokia 3 Users as the December 2017 OTA System Update is now available for download and Android Custom ROMs �� as usual share Step by Step Guide to Safely install it on your flagship without any difficulties or complexities.
So plz follow the instructions properly.
This December 2017 update, which you can downloadfrom below, comes with minor improvements, bug fixes and the latest security patch. It doesn�t, however, bring in Android Nougat for the phone. It is assumed that HMD Global will be skipping the Nougat update directly for Android Oreo which would be a big plus. Nonetheless, update your Nokia 3 by downloading and installing December 2017 OTA system update package from the link given ahead.
The update is 345.7MB in total. You can download the full package and have it installed on your device to avoid any security issues and also, avoid bugs that have been fixed with this release.

Their is no major OS upgrade included in this update but it does feature the latest security patch and few other changes:

How to Install:
*Method 1
1) First Download Nokia 3 December 2017 Security Patch OTA Update and save it to your device.
2) Now Turn Off your phone and boot Nokia 3 into recovery mode. To enter into Recovery mode of Nokia 3 either type adb reboot recovery command or follow below �
Turn Off your phone completelyPress and hold the Volume Up + Power button until �Powered by Android� appear.Hold the button around 5 seconds and then release both buttons.
3) Now in Recovery select option apply update from sdcard.
4) Now select the OTA zip file you downloaded from above.
5) Now, wait until the process finishes.
6) Done! Reboot your system and enjoy.
*Method 2
1) Enable USB debugging option from setting>developer option>. To enable Developer Options, go to About phone and tap the Build Number 7 times.
2) Download ADB and fastboot driver for windows or ADB and Fastboot for Mac and install it on your PC.
3) Download the OTA zip from above Copy ROM to a folder where adb installed.
4) Now Turn Off your phone and boot into recovery mode.
5) Choose Apply update from ADB
6) Now Connect your phone to Laptop/PC
7) On Nougat ROM folder press shift+right click and click on open command here.
8) Now check your connection by typing the below command
adb devices
if your device is listed, you�re ready to flash the ROM
9) Flash the Nougat OTA Zip on Nokia 5 by typing below command
adb sideload File Name.zip
10) Now wait until the process complete and then Reboot the phone.
11) Done!
